The Sweeter Side of Chic | Marquis & Camus

Some worlds are more enchanting than others; while some designers are better at conveying fantasies in real-time than their colleagues, like one of my favourites, Marquis & Camus by Sarah Kang.

It's always nice to know that, even though I haven't explored their collections in a while, they're still creating exquisite statement making necklaces, bracelets, and earrings that are wrapped in lush fabric, chains, and trinkets. Some of it's so sweet you'll get a cavity, but it's always the right kind of whimsy, that's worthy of being hanged on a wall, or worn with nothing at all. Pretty Little Lovelies | Sabrina Dehoff A/W 2011

Sabrina Dehoff's A/W 2011 collection has me drooling all over my keyboard. Collection after collection she ticks it up a notch, giving us a beautiful progression towards the ultimate piece of jewelry. This time she's topped her signature cotton cord and leather bracelets with delicious crystals, in various colours. Dehoff also created new shapes, like the angled croc piece above, that's attached to gold chains. But the toppers have to to be the rounded square gold rings that have clusters of pretty crystals that would offset any outfit. Above and below are my picks from her A/W 2011 collection, which I can't wait to get my hands on. The Summer Essential Series | Sandal Loving

Summer officially starts on the 21st, and I couldn't resist sharing a few of my favourite essentials for the season. I love that the sun affords us instant style approval to wear flats, thus why I'm kicking off this series with a bit of sandal loving. The biggest thing for me with any wardrobe staple, is ensuring they can be paired with a variety of looks, that can be taken from day to night — as summer only last 3 months. Below are my picks. I hope you enjoy, and stay tuned as there will be more added to the series. 

You can never go wrong with a pair of Paloma Barceló's black twill and gold leather sandals, which you can rock from the office to that after work party, or these delicious Ralph Lauren chocolate woven leather beauties below, and there is always the sleek J Crew lovelies topped in glitter, which can literally go with anything. But, maybe you're a multi-strand sandal kinda girl, so why not rock these in antique-rose? Like piling it on? Then go with these perfectly embellished suede goodies from Antik Batik, or if you prefer embellished flip flops, then these are perfect for playing-up any outfit. All of these will keep you stylish without being overly trendy, as many of the styles are plays on the classics, and many are currently on sale, which is always a plus!

Soft + Chic | Ann Louise Landelius

Sweden-based accessories designer Ann Louise Landelius creates luxuriously soft handmade leather handbags that are individually numbered, and come in cool shapes like, the octagon, crescent, circle, and bucket. All come with solid brass chain handles, but my favourites are the ones with zipper details that run around the edge, offering a new way to open them. I also dig the satin fringe ones. Dark Treasures | Nuit N°12

Goth and catacomb themes have been prevalent in the fashion industry for a while now. And, while it's often overdone, and signals the hip set. I'm still relunctant to automatically dismiss those who continue to explore both themes, especially if they're adding their own twist to them. One such emerging brand that creates an entire line of accessories around the dark and lovely is, Nuit N°12 by Ludivine Machinet and Frédéric Baldo. Clicking through their collection is like a visual poem, which indulges in the darker side of art and history. There is plenty to get caught-up on, and plenty that I can leave behind, but the parts I can't — keep me interested. Machinet and Baldo have created a narrative wholly their own, with the mixing of bronze, silver, grey platinum, and pink gold jewelry. Add wood and metal motifs to leather clutches, and you don't need much else to make my heart flutter with excitement. Above and below are a few pieces I wouldn't mind adding to my wishlist. Wishlist | Macha Jewelry

Macha Jewelry is a new favourite that can also be found at Wolf & Badger. I love the hand-carved feel to each piece in their collection of rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. It gives it an antique feel that makes it seem like you've had each piece for years. Visit and explore because dreaming doesn't cost anything.

Wishlist | Akong London

Exquisite chains, beads, feathers, and other baubles stitched together make-up a lot of what jewelry label, Akong London, by West-Indian born, London-based Nicole Akong creates. Covetable statement pieces that would pop against the right outfit, while tongues wag at the sheer beauty of them. But, none of this tops the eclectic and exotic nature of each piece, which is how they landed on my growing wishlist of goodies. Wishlist | Nektar de Stagni

With fashion week in New York still going on, us tweeting away, and more shows to share, I wanted to break-up the coverage with a bit of lusting. Miami-based, Nektar de Stagni sent me an email about their gorgeous jewelry a while ago, that made me want to book a flight to Miami immediately! The chain and crystal necklaces are all worthy of a little black dress, topped with a pearl and silver ring. It's all very luxurious and excessive, which sometimes is just what a girl needs. The pieces aren't as expensive as they look, with a little saving you can own a ring or two. But since dreaming doesn't cost anything, visit and wish with me.

Wishlist | Judy Geib Plus Alpha

Jewelry designer Judy Geib's opulent world has lured me in. From the Neo-geo necklaces wrapped in 22k gold, Squashed earrings and bracelets dipped in 18K gold, opals, emeralds, and a host of other decadent goodies has me lusting hard. Her use of natural and untreated stones is a plus in my book, not to mention most are sourced from Brasil. As always dreaming doesn't cost anything, so do click, explore, and dream with me.

Wishlist | Christopher Ross

I'll admit I've never been much of a belt person. But recently I've noticed a few ladies rockin' them in the most stylish ways. So, I've been on the hunt for something amazing to rock too. That's where these belted goodies from accessories designer Christopher Ross come in. Each one is wrapped in leather or snakeskin and topped with animal motifs, which are hand-caste and plated in either 24-karat gold or sterling silver. Making for the perfect adornment for your waist. Wishlist | Deka Ray

I've spent a lot of time on Deka Ray, a jewelry label by designer Huang Selway. I've been slowly exploring every single piece in her current collection and her bio - she's an architect as well, MIT and Columbia respectively. Her double arrow oxidized silver and yellow gold necklaces, rings, and earrings have me lusting hard. I can't decide which I want, so I've added them all to my wishlist for now. Wishlist | Nada Sawaya

Lebanese designer Nada Sawaya creates beautifully enticing minaduieres made from stingray, metal, and wood that I've been lusting after ever since I saw them at a tradeshow — you need to see them in person to fully appreciate the details. I also found myself lusting hard after her perfectly shaped bangles and cuffs, which are equally appealing and on my virtual wishlist.
