The reason for this is once a link is up it is cached in search engines, and changing the actual permalink name breaks links for said feature (also known as posts).

Addendums/Deletions/Corrections:

We will honour any request within reason to correct information that may have been incorrect, which wasn't at the time of our research, but it needs to be in a timely fashion. You agree that if we change said information at your request to hold us (emplyees, owners, investors of website) harlmess of any liability.

If your request is done within the first 90 days of a feature (also known as posts) goes live we will correct without any strikethroughs and or addendums to our readers. If your request is made after 90 days we will only do a strike-through of the incorrect information, with an addendum to our readers about the correction.

We do this to maintain the integrity of our editorials and features, even in the digital space.
