I've read your emails and thanks to all of you I've decided to bring back the weekly links, which are always certified breathable! I tend to share most of these links on twitter, but I have to remember not all of you are plugged into my daily, sometimes hourly musings. So, it's back, and I hope you like.

Can I tell you how happy I am over the return of the pointy heel? Please allow me a moment to fawn over it. As much as I love a good wedge and towering shoes that sometimes look like furniture. I remain smitten with the pointy pump! My current obsession is with Givenchy's felt covered metal mesh beauties. Aren't they absolutely delish? You can find them at SSENSE, which is seriously killing my budget.

I've got a serious hair crush on style blogger Danielle of Everybody Dies. The Fashion Informer gives us a glimpse into Ruben Toledo's Fashion Almanac.

I gave these ladies a shout-out on twitter weeks ago, but I wanted to share their amazing food blog and web series, Food Heaven Made Easy with all of you.

I'm diggin' some of the looks by model Liya Kebede's Lemlem label, which is handmade in Ethiopia. My friend Jeanine of Aphrochic is launching a book, and you can learn all about it here. The lovely Cassandra of Coco + Kelley is sharing some pretty details for you to be inspired by.

I love when one of my favourite beauty blogs, Into The Gloss, features women like this one. I'm also loving The Glow, a new twist on featuring stylish women, which now includes their offsprings.

Brasilian songstress, Izzy Gordon has been filling-up my speakers with her lovely voice. My good friends, Rucyl + King Britt of Saturn Never Sleeps, has a new album Yesterday's Machine. it's available as a free download, but if you find yourself falling in love like I did, then do support them with a purchase from itunes.

The Summer Essential Series | Sandal Loving

Summer officially starts on the 21st, and I couldn't resist sharing a few of my favourite essentials for the season. I love that the sun affords us instant style approval to wear flats, thus why I'm kicking off this series with a bit of sandal loving. The biggest thing for me with any wardrobe staple, is ensuring they can be paired with a variety of looks, that can be taken from day to night — as summer only last 3 months. Below are my picks. You can never go wrong with a pair of Paloma Barceló's black twill and gold leather sandals, which you can rock from the office to that after work party, or these delicious Ralph Lauren chocolate woven leather beauties below, and there is always the sleek J Crew lovelies topped in glitter, which can literally go with anything. But, maybe you're a multi-strand sandal kinda girl, so why not rock these in antique-rose? Like piling it on? Then go with these perfectly embellished suede goodies from Antik Batik, or if you prefer embellished flip flops, then these are perfect for playing-up any outfit. All of these will keep you stylish without being overly trendy, as many of the styles are plays on the classics, and many are currently on sale, which is always a plus!
