During these long summer days, I enjoy exploring my favourite labels to see what they've come-up with to beat the heat. Australian label LIFEwithBIRD, is one of those brands that consistently offers contemporary pieces that are easy to wear, come in pretty shapes, and look great on various body types. The S/S 2011 collection has plenty of silk dresses, skirts, shorts, blouses, and light sweaters that come in metallic ash, neutral and earthy hues, and digital prints that can go from day to night.
A key piece from this collection is the slip dress, which can be layered to take it beyond the summer season, and straight into fall.
