Travel Without Flying | Timo Weiland Women's Fall 2011

NEW YORK — I've always wanted to visit India to see their beautiful culture and fabrics up close. Designer's Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein gave me a glimpse by paying homage to the colours and textures of colonial India, intertwined with modern tailoring in their Fall 2011 collection. For the ladies they offered vibrant multi-coloured pieces that graced skirts, coats, and ladylike gowns, slim metallic pants, wide-legged trousers, detailed jacquard reminiscent of Himalayan animals, with fur puffs topping some of the looks.
