Maï Lamore's ready-to-wear and haute couture collection still leaves me breathless every time I visit and explore what she's doing. I've been smitten with the Central African Republic-born designer, ever since I saw her work in a trade-publication back in 2007. Richly hued and always adorned with some specialties, like silk, feathers, panthers, or a heel that looks like a bolt of lightening dipped in gold. Lamore's creations are never dull and never fail to excite the senses. The mixing of French and Italian design sensibilities has proved perfect for her brand and keep lovers of her work happy.
