I had the pleasure of sifting through the virtual lookbook of label Evan & Dean, by Canadian designers Raymond Boutet and Lyle Reimer. After taking in their entire Fall 09 collection and reading about their inspiration, I walked away liking a lot of what I saw. The elegance factor throughout this collection and how each piece drapes the body is the real cherry topper. Perhaps it's the styling, but these are clothes meant to be worn by women who rock the board rooms but could easily stand-out at a cocktail party. Overall they have a solid collection that should be seen in person, because the details look amazing. Take the first dress, while the ruffles are the first thing you notice, it's the colours {hints of yellow woven in with grey} that deserve a deeper look. Their entire collection is like this, which is why I took my time with their lookbook. I was particularly smitten with the looks below but they have plenty more, so visit and explore.
