Canadian reader Amara, sent me the link {when she responded to her winning last week} of a former Canadian Project Runway contestant, Adejoké Taiwo's label àlalá {which means Dreamer in Yorùbá}. I was delighted with some lovely + chic pieces when I clicked on the link, so I had to share. The first dress {my favourite}, is Batik with copper + chain details, which are removable. The slouchy pants are a beautiful welcome to the oft-putting harem movement. The styling + photography makes it easy to fall in love with this collection.

And by now it should be no surprise that I adore prints, from my coverage of designers like Suno, Ronaldo Fraga, and Barüch {just to name a few}. Now, I add àlalá to my growing list of emerging labels to watch. Visit + discover more from the current collection, you won't be disappointed.
