A few weeks ago I was contacted by designer May Kosaka's label Mothe. After perusing the fotos sent my way I requested to actually see one of the jackets from the F/W 09 collection, that I was smitten with. I wanted to know if my initial reactions would be proven, and they were! The jacket is perfectly structured and there isn't a stitch out of place. I've been marveling at the pleats on the tail of it — a nice touch that sets it a part from others. It's light and soft, which makes it perfect for transitional seasons. I will be revisiting Mothe often, because it's earned a spot on my emerging brands to watch list.
