I discovered Vlisco, a Netherlands baaed textile firm via Nay K's blog, who discovered them via Decor8. The textiles they create are from Western + Central African cultures. I must say upon viewing their creations I was immediately moved by the beauty of the ad campaign for their current collection. I loved seeing the possibilities that they conveyed via striking poses and a beautiful model. For me this is perfect timing as I've been exploring different textiles for my next collection. They've inspired me with their current collection, because there is nothing cliché about what they're offering.
Vlisco's slogan "The True Original" resonates deep with me and has me wanting to wrap myself in their work. Please do explore their myriad of fabrics and discover your favourites.
