I've been trying to keep-up with everything, but I think where I went wrong was seeing too many shows, and not blogging enough jajaja. So recaps galore this week, I hope it doesn't get redundant, but I couldn't go without sharing the specific looks from the designers I liked. Entries are already drafted, so they'll just appear - enjoy!
Beijos.
Rosa Chá: I'm kind of surprised by Rosa Chá's move to do some colour blocking with their Spring collection, it seems less Brasil and more trend forward. I do like the muted tones mashed with yellows, pinks, blues, and they had a few cute beach dresses (sorry not enough room to add them) that would look so cute off the beach. All an in I would've preferred different cuts, but why fix what works?
Catherine Malandrino:I'm a huge fan of Catherine Malandrino's designs, in fact she has had very few misses to me. I love her draping skills, she knows the female form, like very few designers do. Her usage of primary colours in her Spring 2008 collection is pretty spot-on if you ask me. It's very different than what most are offering, and I for one am loving what she's offering, especially against all that green.
